My dream which i forget the finer details of took place in my aunts basement. I have reocurring dreams of the basement involving a witch, demon, or ghost haunting the basement. I've never had any bad experiences here. The dream last night took place here and it was haunted by a demon. My mother, i believe was in the basement and she was possesed. I was trying to exercise the demon from her. The demon mocked me that the tibetan diety Tara that i follow was actually a demon and mocked me, claiming that Tara was a demon and that i brought this on. The demon mocked me that i would burn in hell and be tormented for worshiping a demon. When i was trying to exercise the demon i was attempting to use the christian god and invoking the rites of exorcism, but it came out as Tara's Mantra which was ineffective and the demon laughed and mocked me more. I woke up shortly afterwards without any resolution.
Dreams can often be symbolic representations of our subconscious thoughts and feelings. In this dream, the recurring theme of your aunt's basement suggests that there may be underlying emotions or unresolved issues associated with that specific environment in your life.
The presence of a witch, demon, or ghost haunting the basement may symbolize fears or negative influences that you perceive, or it could represent feelings of being overwhelmed or controlled by something or someone in your waking life. It's important to note that these dreams do not necessarily reflect any real-life bad experiences, but rather serve as a vehicle for understanding your emotions.
The possession of your mother by a demon in the dream may represent a fear of losing connection or control over a loved one, or it could signify feelings of powerlessness in terms of protecting those you care about.
The demon mocking you and questioning your beliefs in Tara, the Tibetan deity you follow, suggests a conflict or doubt within yourself regarding your spiritual or religious practices. The demon's claim that Tara is a demon and that you brought this upon yourself highlights an inner struggle with doubts or criticism of your faith.
Your unsuccessful attempts to exercise the demon using Christian rites of exorcism, but instead using Tara's Mantra, may indicate a need for introspection and finding your own personal spiritual path that resonates with you. The demon's laughter and mockery could represent self-doubt or feelings of inadequacy in your spiritual journey.
Overall, this dream suggests that there might be unresolved emotions, conflicts, or doubts in your life, particularly regarding your spiritual beliefs and your ability to protect and influence the well-being of your loved ones. Exploring these themes further and finding ways to address any underlying issues may help bring a sense of resolution and peace. Additionally, seeking guidance from spiritual leaders or professionals could provide support and clarity in navigating these concerns.
